My name is Dale.

More than likely the Auto-Temp Control Head (the part you look at in the dash) has what is termed (AN INTERMITTANT CLOSE TO OPEN) internal circuit. To be sure the vehicle needs to be connected to a scanner through the ALDL port and checked for any hard or soft codes in the body computer via a scanner that is connected to the vehicle through the ALDL connector port.

If you have any other questions feel free to respond.

Have a Blessed day,
