I have a 2007 vauxhall corsa sxi the heater fan would not work on setting 4 only on settings 123 then the blower went off altogether.I have checked fuse and it is ok

Neal : There is a fan resistor that can go bad. If you get the new one from the parts store first it will help locate it under the dash when you know what to look for. If you are not experienced mechanically it would be best to have it installed as some can be hard to get to.

You advise it is hard to get to can you advise where it is likely to be under the dash
