For a 2003 Isuzu RodeoXXXXXV6, what are the steps in changing the fuel filter? I was told that it's easy, but are there any secret applications that must be done.

No secrets at all. This is a fairly simple job, that any DIY'er can accomplish:


  • Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  • Remove the fuel filler cap. graphic

  • Disconnect the fuel hose from the fuel filter on the engine side.

  • Disconnect the fuel hose from the fuel filter on the fuel tank side.
  • Remove the bolt on the fuel filter holder.

  • Remove the fuel filter.
