Billy :

Hello,

Billy :

I'm Billy and i will assist you with this.

Billy :

I need some more info to give an accurate answer:

Billy :

- are you marking the flanges, so you get them back in original positions?

Billy :

- are you changing the flex disc, cause you have vibration?

Billy :

And if yes, is the vibration at low speeds, high speeds....?

Customer :

no i did not mark the flange. but i took the bolts out one at a time to insure they got put back in the corresponding holes. no i changed the flex disc cause it was tore up.

Customer :

is there like a steel plate that is suppose to go on there with the flex disc?

Customer :

to keep the flex disc from getting tore up?

Billy :

The flex disc or flector, is a one piece........so no there are no additional plates.

Billy :

If there is no vibration and the car runs smoothly, then i would only suspect the quality of flectors you are using.

Customer :

but this vehicle is eating the flexdsic or flector like candy. and this time it had vibration at low and high speed and eventually broke the bolts off

Billy :

i suppose the transmission and differential have their fluids ok....

Customer :

yea fluids are good.

Billy :

Well in that case, your propeler shaft might need balancing or replacing, as it is causing too much vibration and stress on the flector, thus tearing it apart.

Customer :

or the bolts could possibly be in the worng hole by chance, would that cause vibrations and added stress on the disc?

Billy :

There is a recall, concerning your case, only it is about incorrect nuts (you need upgraded ones), i suggest you check this out as well:

Billy :

So i suggest you get new bolts, and if it does not cure the problem, then the shaft would be the only thing left to check...

Customer :

k thank you very much for your time and expertise.bye
