Steve :

Hello and Welcome to Justanswer, My name is XXXXX XXXXX I am here to try and assist your with your question

Steve :

they could have rotated the tires

Steve :

If you rotate the tires you have to relearn the sensors to the computer.

Steve :

i would take it back to the dealer and explain the situation to them they should fix it for free

Customer:

Hi Steve--The tires were not rotated---if they were I would still be getting a reading--however they would be incorrect.

Customer:

Do you think my car wass tampered with?

Steve :

hard to say I would take it back to the dealer

Customer:

As in tapering, could the sensors be improperly positioned, somthing I might check on my self.

Steve :

the sensor or in the tire and unless you can dismount the tire no. There is a special tool you use to check the tire sensors that the dealer has. the dealer needs to reset the sensors to the computer. they usually do this for free.

Customer:

HI I hope there is someone that can work with me today. I am mech/elet savy and with your assist I think I can solve this.I have another question,----where is the antenna located that the sensors send data to. thanks Ernie.

Steve :

hi

Steve :

it is in the tire on the valve stem or on the rim of the tire

Steve :

If all four are not reading then you need to program the tires to the computer

Steve :

most times the dealer will do this for free.

Steve :

you have to have a special equipment to program the tire to the computer

Customer:

When will Steve be back on line to assist me?--Ernie.

Customer:

Hi Steve, I do not want to go back to the dealer with this, I have considerable mech/electron savvy, with some good info I can fix this guy. Please tell me the location of the antenna that the sensors send data to. Ernie.

Steve :

The sensors are in the tire

Steve :

you need to buy a 2000 dollar machine to set the sensors up to the computer

Customer:

Thankyou,Ernie --Most of what you say is incorrect, but I'm going to hit accept anyway.
