  1. Remove the fuel pressure regulator.
1Remove the Torx(R) screws.
2Remove the cap.
3Remove O-ring.
4Remove the spring.
5Remove the poppet valve and O-ring.
6Remove the valve seat
7Remove O-ring.

WARNING: CLEAN ALL FUEL RESIDUE FROM THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT. FAILURE TO DO SO CAN CAUSE PERSONAL INJURY OR DAMAGE TO THE VEHICLE.

  1. Thoroughly clean the fuel pressure regulator bore in the fuel filter/water separator.

INSTALLATION

  1. Follow the removal procedure in reverse order.
Service and Repair

REMOVAL

  1. Remove the turbocharger compressor manifold.
  2. Remove the fuel filter/water separator.

  1. Disconnect the electrical connector from the oil pressure regulator.

  1. Remove the pressure regulator from the high-pressure oil pump.
