Sorry... I meant to say hello!
Did you still need help?
Are you looking for a reliable vehicle?
What type of vehicles do you like?
Are you looking more for a sporty vehicle or one that gets better gas mileage?
I am so sorry that I did not "accept". Still understanding this system. In answer to your questions, at this point RELIABLE is most critical. This vehicle will go to someone who has to travel about 30 miles each way to work daily so it needs to survive that but they are in a very stressed cash situation so $4500 to $5000 is about all they can handle. Good gas mileage would be great but suv is preferred over small sedan.
Sorry for the delay!
I personally would go for a asian vehicle.
These vehicles are awsome!
THey are extrmely reliable and very good on gas.
Honda, Toyota, Mistubishi, Nissan, ETC....
Any one of those or any other asian vehicle would be just fine
Obviously, you are going to want to get it checked out by a mechanic before purchasing it.
He does not have a majic ball that he can predict what is going to happen down the road...
But, he can spot potential problems by checking for signs like...
Cracked belts, leaky coolant parts radiator, water pump.. hoses.. ETC
As well as check the tires and brakes to see if they are getting low, tie rods and ball joints
And shocks and struts...
THey all can be looked at to see if they are in good shape or not.
Currently looking at 2006 Land Rover Discovery in immaculate condition.
