DBranch - I'm at work and get a chance to check the computer every so often but I don't have a desk job, so I'll keep checking in. Hope you can help with this maddening air suspension problem. - Mark Lucht.
Do I hit Accept when I get the answer or do I have to accept it before you send me the answer? (Not sure how this works.)
The only thing I got so far is "Welcome to JA"
I typed out an answer I guess it didnt go through. Sorry for the delay I was away from my computer. You can hit accept when you feel that I have provided you with an adequate answer.
Here is the answer you didnt recieve. If you have an issue with the air suspension you will first need to have the fault codes in the system read to see if the computer has logged any. There are several things that can cause eas issues so this is a start. You have a very slow leak so it will be harder to find where it is coming from. To find the leak you will have to get a spray bottle with soapy water and spray down all of the fittings and valve block and compressor fittings to see if you see any of them bubbling which indicates a leak. Also spray down the air bags good because these are liekly the source.
Thanks Dbranch for getting back. It's not a gradual leak as much as it is no leak at all for 2 days and then all at once in a matter of seconds. Because of its intermittent nature, it's almost impossible to find and of course it never happens in the presence of my mechanic. I'll take your advice to have the fault codes read!
Yes then I would have the fault codes read you may have a intermittent height sensor failure.
