2003 sunfire: start engine..replaced starter..cables and wires..tested

Resolved Question:

got 2003 sunfire,every now and then starter will drag,turn slowly then spin fast and start engine,replaced starter,checked all cables and wires had battery load tested all ok,any advice,dont matter if engine is hot or cold

Has to be the battery cables if the startr is good and the battery is good... No other part can do what you describe.

checked cables for resistance with voltmeter,ok,

Right, if they had high resistance the car would never start. Resistance is not a good test for high amp cables. The cables are the problem if the starter and battery are good.
