Mazda 323: Hatchback 4cyl..1.6L and I need a new clutch.

Customer Question

I have a Mazda 323 Hatchback 4cyl. 1.6L and I need a new clutch. Is there anything else that should be checked or done while the clutch is being repaired?

Also, do you have any suggestions for keeping my car on the road? It's in good condition, I love it, I'm 58, (60's Child) and want to keep it forever! (I paid cash--way back then...)

Thank you.

When the clutch is replaced I would replace the pressure plate and release bearing as well and have them check for an oil leak at the rear main seal. this will be easy to do with the trans out of it.
