1998 Mitsubishi Eclipse: emissions test..driven the car..disconnected

Resolved Question:

My 1998 Mitsubishi Eclipse will not "hook up" to an emissions test. I have driven the car over a thousand miles since the battery was disconnected. Everyone keeps telling me that the computer has to reset or cycle through whatever. After a thousand miles this should of happened. What can I do?
