Hello and thank you for using Just Answer

when you say it doesn't turn over is the engine not even turning or is it turning but not catching?

did you notice any theft light during this?

Customer: replied 6 years ago.

It started just fine two days ago, when we tried to start it today it wouldn't catch, it didn't make the clicking sound..

common causes are the ignition switch , the starter relay , or the starter

you need to check power to the starter while someone is holding the key to start

I am attaching a repair report for no crank testing below

Vehicle Application:
2001 Oldsmobile Aurora 3.5L, Vin H, Eng Cfg V6
Customer Concern:Engine will not crank.
Tests/Procedures:1. Check for the starter relay to click when the ignition switch is turned to crank.

2. Check for the IGN1 relay to click when the ignition is turned from off to crank.

3. Test for 12 volts on the Pink wire, terminal B in the C1 connector at the ignition switch in run and crank.

4. If missing, test for 12 volts on the Orange wire in terminal A in the C2 connector at the ignition switch at all times.

5. If the there is no voltage on the Pink wire and there is voltage on the Orange wire, replace the ignition switch.
Potential Causes:Ignition Switch
Starter Relay
Diagnostic Codes:None
