i have a93 chevy lumina it seems that the radiator fans dont want to come on i did a diag check on them and they do work but after i drive it awhile and the car gets to normal running temp and then i come to a stop the car shuts off it will starte back up but when i put in drive it dies again i can wait for a few min and it will be ok for alittle while but run alttle and it does this again i changed the thermstat and cooling senser but still have the same prob
if it runs ok in park when this happens it is in the transmission torque converter lockup solenoid we have allot of trouble with them not releaseing

you can do it with out removing the trans but the engine and cradle will need to be lowered to get the side cover off the trans
