Infinity: vehicles..77,000 miles the carfax shows no problems

This answer was rated:

I am looking at purchasing an Infinity FX 35 or 45. Is the maintenance high on these vehicles. Both have around 77,000 miles the carfax shows no problems. When should the timing belt be replaced.

Hello,

Good News! Both of these vehicles have timing chains (that don't require replacement) instead of timing belts. Also they both have Infrequent problems reported, all with low repair cost. Once you hit the 80,000 mile range you may want to look into replacing the struts ( for ride quality ), but that is about it until you reach 105k for some spark plugs.

Thanks!
