Thanks for visiting Just Answer,
Is there a check engine light on? If so, I would recommend having any codes scanned before diagnostic. This will save time.
Now, If you mean "erratic" as in "surging", (Up and down idle) the problem is likely with the AIS (IAC)
On the engine of the 6-pin connector there are a Dark Blue/Yellow and Dark Green/Black wires. Identify the terminals in the AIS that they go to, with a 9-volt battery power and ground the terminals one way, then the other with the engine running, the idle should go up and down. If it will not, replace it.graphic

check engine light is off and when driving car jerks and feels like there is no fuel

Thanks, XXXXX XXXXX "surging" or "jerking" feeling usually is caused by a lack of fuel or a lean condition.
Since there are no codes in the computer, we have to look at all the options.
First, clean the mass air flow sensor.

Also, a weak fuel pump can cause this. Have the fuel pressure checked. If the fuel pressure is low suspect a weak fuel pump. Also, while there is a pressure gauge installed make sure pressure holds and does not bleed off. If pressure bleeds off suspect a fuel pressure regulator.
I think between these ideas, you should have the problem solved.
