You likely have air in the system this is how you bleed it. Remove the raditor to resvoir tube. It is the small tube on the passenger side of the radiator at the top undo the clamp and pull it off. Make sure you top the revoir off until it is full and no more it doesnt take anymore coolant. Locate the overflow tube on the coolant resvoir it is about 6 inches long and black plastic. Rotate it up so you can get your mouth to blow on it. With the cap off put your hand over the resvoir cap hole to seal it blow on the resvoir overflow tube while holding your hand over the cap hole until antifreeze starts to come out of the radiator where the hose you took off goes keep blowing until it flows out smooth without any air in it. Make sure while doing this the resvoir doesnt run dry. You will have to keep topping it off and keep blowing until antifreeze comes out. It may take a few good blows before fuid comes out the radiator. This should be what the problem is, it is hard to get the air out if you just add anitfreeze without doing this too.

WOULD THIS CAUSE LOW HEAT TO COME OUT WHEN YOU TURN THE HEATER ON ALSO
Expert:  DBranch replied 6 years ago.

If there is air in the system yes. The heater core is one of the main places that gets air in it when you top off the coolant. When driving you may have heard water sloshing around in the dash that would be due to air in the heater core.
