ignition key..ignition lights (break..parking light..grinding noise

Customer Question

My car will not turn over when I try to turn the ignition key. It is definity not the battery. All the ignition lights (break, batterey, etc) lights come on, including the parking light come one, but all I get is a grinding noise and the enjine wil not turn over.

It's a bad starter. The starter is a gear reduction type and the outer gear is plastic. This is a common problem.

You are mistaken. I took it for $421 in repairs. It was the spark plugs.
