HOW TO ADJUST VALVE CLEARANCES FOR SUZUKI CARRY VAN G13BB ENGINE 16-VALVE
Optional Information: Year: 2001Make: SuzukiModel: carry van Engine: g13bb
Hi what is engine displacement?
4cyl 1300cc 16-valve - firing order 1324
Disconnect battery. remove valve cover. turn crankshaft pulley clockwise until mark V will align with mark 0 on timing belt cover. see if the rocker arms of #1 cylinder are off respective cam lobes. if so valves 1,2,5 and 7 ready for clearance

so when at TDC #1 i can adjust valves 1,2,5 & 7? is so what do i do next???
after setting those 1,2,5 7 valves rotate engine 360 clockwise and set valves 3,4,6,8 make sure cylinder 4 rocker arms are off respective cam lobes.set clearance with engine cold intake valves 0.13-0.17 mm and exhaust 0.23-0.27 mm and good luck
when i'm at TDC #1 valves 1&7 are opening or closing. didn't think i could adjust clearance whilst in this position???
When at TDC#1 both valves should be closed because the is a spark at the moment
just set # XXXXX in TDC. if rocker arms are not loose on # XXXXX means you are in # XXXXX TDC.
So rotate engine again 360 and your # XXXXX rocker arms will become loose. if you have more ??? just ask-i'm here to help. Thank you
