There are two power inputs to the speedometer. One is a Red/Yellow wire, from fuse 6 in the inside fuse box, which feeds power to all the gauges. The second is a Light Blue/Pink wire, from fuse 8 in the engine compartment fuse box, which feeds only the speedometer. On vehicles with air suspension, it also feeds the air suspension system, but on police vehicles, it feeds only the speedometer. Check for battery voltage at all times on this wire. It is in pin 13 of connector C2220a at the cluster. If there is no voltage on the Light Blue/Pink wire at the cluster, but fuse 8 in the engine compartment fuse box is OK, check the Light Blue/Pink wire at connector C1147. This is a 12-terminal inline connector, located at the passenger side rear of the engine compartment, above the blower motor.\
