My cars transmission slips out of high gear. While driving

Resolved Question:

My car's transmission slips out of high gear. While driving at any speed it jerks and goes fron 2 rpm to 3rpm and then back to 2. It does this constantly. Does this mean i will need a new transmission?

yes it is a great chance that the transmission is failing!! will need a reman transmission!!

flushing the transmission will be a wast of time because of the floating clutch material in the fluid right now will be out and may even cause the transmission be worse than before

on these transmissions once they start to slip and then chatter they are done

recommend factory reman unit due to the modifications and advancements in the transmission to make it last longer
