2001 grand vitara: 4wd..engage actuator..pressure line fitting

Resolved Question:

I have a 2001 grand viatara. 4WD wil not work. can you tell me how much air pressure is needed to engage actuator in differential and if i should have gear oil coming out of pressure line fitting at differential.

Hi, my name is XXXXX XXXXX does not require alot of pressure to activate it, if you have oil in the line then you have a bad diaphram in the the accuator and it is letting oil into the system, this is common, replace the accuator,Tim
