Have you ever tried what is called never daull This works for me (I have restored my old harleys with bad tones on the cases and it brings back a very nice chrome look) It takes a little bit of work but its worth it in the long run!(* NEVER DUALL) Thanks let me know what you think!

Paint thinners wont touch the coating Some acid based rims cleaners will work but dont leave on rims too long they can damage the finish
