95 Lincoln Continental: ground..air suspension compressor

Resolved Question:

I have a 95 Lincoln Continental that is sitting on the ground. The air suspension compressor is no longer doing its job. How do i remove compressor and install anothjer one?

Hi,

 

Below are directions:

 

  • Disconnect battery ground cable.
  • Turn air suspension switch to the OFF position.
  • Disconnect electrical connector located on the compressor.
  • Remove air line protector cap from dryer by releasing two latching pins located on bottom of the cap 180°apart.
  • Disconnect air lines from dryer.
  • Remove three screws attaching air compressor to mounting bracket.
  • Reverse procedure to install
