The panels i speak of are on the front dash either side of radio.(Wood grain finish)Regards John

I do not have good instructions for this procedure, I'll opt-out and let another expert help. Someone will respondautmatically so do not reply otherwise I'll be locked into the question, thanks.

try using a spatula instead of a screwdriver. This will prevent any pry damage by displacing the pressure over a larger area of the dash. Hope this helps.
