Notes

DTC INSPECTION (IMMOBILIZER SYSTEM)

    • If there is any malfunction:
    • After any malfunction is detected, the security light will function as follows for approx. 1 min .
    • DTC 16 and lower: Flashes
    • DTC 21 and higher: Illuminated
    • If there is no malfunction:
    • The security light illuminates for approx. 3 s and goes out.
  1. When any malfunction has been detected, read DTCs via flashing patterns displayed after the security light flashes or is illuminated for approx. 1 min .
    • Perform troubleshooting according to the corresponding DTC inspection.

NOTE:

  • A verified DTC is flashed 10 times repeatedly by the security light.
  • If multiple DTCs are verified, the security light displays only the smallest DTC.

I appreciate your help but I am not having any trouble codes on my car, what I need to do is to know the location of the Immobiliser module, I already have another ECU installed in my car but I haven't been able to start the engine because I haven't replace the immobiliser that goes with this new ECU, remember I am changing both the ECU and the Immobiliser and ignition switch with the keys from another junkyard found RX-8, if I don't change the immobiliser along with the ECU and keys then the engine won't start.

thanks
