mitsubishi: left hand front drive shaft pull..disconnected

Customer Question

I own a mitsubishi pajero 1993. Why won't the left hand front drive shaft pull straight out as the manual describes. Everything else is disconnected. Boot is damaged that is why I need to get the drive shaft out.

Hello, are you trying to pull the part of the axle out of the trans/differential?
Customer: replied 6 years ago.
I have decided not to do the work myself. I do not want to take up any more of your time. Thank you.
