Hi,how are you?Does the vehicle have the check engine light on?If so do you have the trouble codes?
Customer: replied 6 years ago.
no eng light has come on once while driving a light came on aut.tran.light
Expert:  Mike Kelly replied 6 years ago.
Ok,from what you are describing this sounds like the torque convertor is failing in the vehicle, the transmission would have to be removed in order to replace, mazda is known to have transmission issues.
Customer: replied 6 years ago.
what type of transmisson problems are they having also if it is torque convertor what is cost of repair.i have heard that this tran. is shifted by elect.impluses and there is a elect .modular that can go bad?
Expert:  Mike Kelly replied 6 years ago.
Yes,this is true as to the electronic module, the torque convertor would be exspensive,do to the transmission being removed to replace, you could be looking at as much as $1500-2000 dollars, the first thing to do is to have the transmission codes read to see which codes there are.If it is the torque convertor it will have a trouble code, same with the module.
