Hello. My name is XXXXX XXXXX I can help you with this question. First I need to ask a couple of questions.

Does this problem re-occur is you shut the vehicle off? how long has it been happening?

Can you get a trouble code out of it?

Thank you, I'll look forward to helping you.

Hi Mike,

Just got back from vacation, battery down,so i jump started it but it took a couple of starts before it eventually started, its presently running as i am typing.

Ok. there are a few things that can cause the message that you saw which reduces the engine power. One of them is a loss of voltage, or excessively low voltage.

Make sure that the battery gets a full charge. It will likely take more than just letting it idle, go out and drive it if you can. But if that message wont go off after a few key cycles, you'll need to get a trouble code.
