I HAVE A 1997 SAAB 900 TURBO SE,IT HAS A 2.0 LITER ENGINE AND THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON AND IT SHOWS THAT A CAM SHAFT SENSOR IS BAD,THE CAR IS MISSING AND STALLING OUT AT IDLE,WHERE IS THE CAM SHAFT SENSOR

yes it is the 2.0 liter turbo engine

OK...Your problem is the IDM (Ignition Discharge Module) needs to be replaced...This is located on top of the valve cover between the camshafts....It is REd and is held in place with 4 screws....this is the home of the cam sensor circuitry and ignition coils...doesn't really have a cam sensor ; but thats the code it sets when there is a fault...jeffrey590
