I have a 2002 Alero that will start some times and some times it will not. If it is sitting for a long time it seems to start right up but, if it sits for just a short period of time it will not start right away.
Year: 2002Make: OldsmobileModel: AleroEngine: 6 cyl Already Tried: Tune up, and fuses.
Explain a long time Do you mean over night or several days.
I do not know what else to tell you, the battery is fine even when it would not start a jump would have no effect on it.

The car will not start when I try it again within a short period of time, but if it siys for a while it will start right up, it starts fine in the morning
I believe you have a fuel pressure problem. I would change the fuel pressure regulator. Happened to my car too. Thanks Dan
