How to reset service indicator for mercedes class E 350
Year: 2008Make: Mercedes-BenzModel: E 350Engine: v6 Already Tried: How to reset service indicator for mercedes class E 350
Hello,ok first sit in the car with all the doors closed, then insert the j=key into the ignition, turn it one turn to the first click(make sure your instrument cluster is displaying the mileage screen, then hit the reset button on the instrument cluster three times in a row(push it three times in a row and then you should get a new display in the cluster),then from here use the arrow buttons on the steering wheel to scroll through this menu until you get to the service menu, then scroll down in this service menu until you get to confirm maintenance(i believ you scroll down using the plus and minus buttons on the steering wheel controls),once you have done this use the other button on the other side of the steering wheel i believe its the bottom button on the left side of the steering wheel it looks like a window. Then it should ask if you want to confrim all maintenance items hit the window button again and then it should say service confirmed.then turn the key off and restart the car and after a little while it should display your new service interval.Hope this helped,if you need anything else let me know,Thanks Pete
