My hydraulic clutch is very stiff. Hard to push. All the units are either new or within 6K miles. Current Clutch MC is Cherokee. Would a MC will larger bore, (current is 17.75mm) or a longer throw make the clutch pedal feel softer? MMSM
Year: Pre-1983Year (other): '59Make: JeepModel: cj6Engine: 5.3 L Vortec Already Tried: MC, Slave Cylinder and high pressure line have been replaced, (twice). Clutch itself has only 6K miles on it. This is a "built" jeep so the parts come from many sources. Currently the clutch master cylinder is from a Jeep Cherokee and the slave is from a Toyota, (I think). Would a MC with a larger bore or longer throw make a difference? MMSM
Hi, my name is XXXXX XXXXX clutch do you have in this, is it a diaphram clutch or does it have 3 fingers?
I believe it to be a diaphram style clutch.
MMSM
Do you know what brand it is, I doubt its a hyraulic problem, a jeep master should have no problem pushing a toyota slave.Tim
