I have a P0725 code on a Nissan Altima 2005 2.5 Engine It says Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction. Does this mean a sensor or a bad wiring harness?

Hello my name is XXXXX XXXXX I will be more than happy to assist you.

 

95% of the time it is the Crankshaft Sensor also know as the Engine Speed Sensor. Nissan has a problem with the sensor and came out with a new sensor.

 

Any time you get code P0725 and/or P0335 you should replace the Crankshaft and Camshaft sensors. When one goes out the other will go out or is already bad.
