  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

Upper Radiator Cross Member

Upper Radiator Cross Member Removed

  1. Remove and relocate the upper radiator crossmember.

Fan Module In Vehicle

  1. Remove the radiator fan module.
  2. Remove the wiring harness clip from front mount.

Coolant Line Bracket

  1. Remove the coolant line clamp bolt.

Front Rubber Mount Upper Nut

  1. Remove the upper nut from the front mount.

Upper Starter Bolt

  1. Remove the upper starter mounting bolt.

Middle Starter Bolt

  1. Remove the middle starter bolt.
  2. Raise vehicle and support.

Front Rubber Mount In Position

  1. Remove the lower front mount nut.

Support Engine

  1. Raise and support engine.

Bracket Trans Bolt

  1. Remove the lower bracket bolt to transmission.

Bracket Engine Block Bolt

  1. Remove the lower bracket bolt to engine block.
  2. Relocate the front mount and bracket.
  3. Disconnect the positive battery cable from starter
  4. Disconnect the solenoid connector from starter.

Starter Lower Bolt

  1. Remove the lower starter bolt.
  2. Remove starter from vehicle.


Starter And Shield

  1. Install starter and shield to vehicle.
  2. Start the lower starter bolt.
  3. Connect the solenoid connector to starter.
  4. Connect the positive battery cable to starter
  5. Relocate the front mount and bracket.

Mount Alignment Pin


  • The front mount has an alignment pin, make sure that the mount and bracket line up together. The alignment pin goes toward the front of vehicle.
  • Make sure that the wire harness is in front of the front mount.
  1. Install the lower bracket bolt to engine block.
  2. Install the lower bracket bolt to transmission.
  3. Tighten both lower bracket bolts.
  4. Lower engine.
  5. Install the lower front mount nut and tighten .
  6. install and tighten the middle starter bolt .
  7. Install and tighten the upper starter mounting bolt .
  8. Lower vehicle.
  9. Install the upper nut to the front mount and tighten .
  10. Install the coolant line clamp bolt .
  11. Install the wiring harness clip to front mount.
  12. Install the radiator fan module.
  13. Relocate and install and the upper radiator crossmember.
  14. Connect the negative battery cable.
