to the previous question i have a 1998 range rover 1st gear does'nt engage... i understand now the eas is disabled, and the low is not effective, when at stand still and suddenly accelerate it does not downshift to low, seems to be in a higher gear......
Year: 1998Make: LandRover
The eas is a seperate issue asits it's own system and has to be diagnosed profssionally withtheir computer. The down shift is controlled by the kickdown cable. I would have a shop look at it. It sounds like you have area differentthings going on.
