Hi guys, I have a 4" lifted (with edelbrock suspension/shock absorber) 2dr 1994 4WD Jeep Cherokee SPORT, with manual trans, about 200k miles (most driven on highways). Every scheduled maintenance has been followed and belts and hoses were last replaced in 2006 (so far put about 40k on them). She is originally from CA, but lives in NY now. I absolutely love her and am planning to take with me to the middle east. I am just concerned if she will be able to handle daily 100-140 degrees (in the summer) and 70-90 (in the winter) temperatures. The A/C might have to be exchanged.... and the radiator prob too. You guys think that the transmission will handle it? What else should I look into? And how much would it cost me to make her "desert proof"? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks a lot!

Hello and Thank you for choosing Just Answer. You may want to look into a bigger radiator and possibly an electric fan if you do not have one already. Also a transmission cooller would be a big plus for keeping the fluid a little cooler. You should be fine with your Jeeep from there. Im sure you know but there are endless parts for any type of Jeep out there and you should have no problem finding what you need. Hope this helps
Would you have al these alterations done in the US or in Dubai (where the car will be going to)...Also, any idea of cost if I was to do all of the above suggested alterations?

Honestly, I would have then done here in the US. Sometimes the repair shops over seas do not quite have all the special tools needed. It will be hard to give you a price but if I had to give you a ball park, I would say $1000 for parts and labor.
