I have a 2006 eclipse and a kid dropped a penny in the lighter and it shorted something and now the clock, lighter, and phone charger do not work. Also the ac fan only works on high. i have checked all the fuses and none are blown in the fuse box in the engine, is there a fuse box somewhere that i do not know about? Is there any help you can give me?
Hello, there is an inside fuse box in one of the locations shown below. Either "E" in the first pic or "D" in the second pic. If it is E, there is a cover that will unsnap at end of dash with door open. You are looking for a 15amp fuse I think is marked accessary . It will be a blue fuse. It may say lighter. Check that, it is most likely blown
you were a great help with the lighter and in dash clock. i am still getting no where on the ac. i have checked all the fuses and they are fine. the fan only works on high and the ac cuts off after 2 minns of turning the fan on high. i do nnnot know what i need to do for troubleshooting it.

Now, I do not mind trying to help for short while witht the AC problem. I just can not get too involved if it looks like a lot of diag work is required.
What fan are you referring to? the blower or radiator fan.? also when you say AC cuts of, what is stopping? the compressor or other?
