1988 Isuzu Trooper: driving down..road..Engine turns..wont run

Hi,
I have a 1988 Isuzu Trooper II. I reciently experienced the problem of driving down the road and the vehicle suddenly died. Engine turns over but won't run. Its a 2.6L MFI, 5 speed manual trans.. Ive replaced the ign. sw., coil, and fuel pump relay with no success. I appreciate all anticipated feedback. Thnx!

hi joe, have you verified that you have spark and fuel at the plugs and fuel rail?

mostlikey you have a faulty crank position sensor, but we need to verify spark to be absolutely sure

used spark plug test conn on plug 1. turn key to on pos. no lite. need to hold key to on pos or not?

yes you need to crank the engine, like your tying to start it
