Customer Question

I am a little older, and possibly my information is too. But I have always been taught that to prolong the A/C life I should shut down my system a block or two before stopping the vehicle to help evaporate the condensate, and to equalize the pressures in the system. Also, one should never start their vehicle with the A/C unit on, as it adds load to the starter motor, and is hard on the compressor too. Am I outdated?

no , not at all , that is absolutely correct, and common sense, and if more people would abide by those rules, they would have less problems with their vehicles.

thanx
