where does the locking tool come from and is is neccesary also do you have any written instructions

The first screen shot of the total 3 I sent states the procedure to follow. You would need to buy the tool from a parts truck like matco or snap or a isuzu dealer. Yes you can get by without, its just a little harder.

do u know what the crankshaft pully aligns with and do i need to pull the pully off to find marks i see no marks oin the waterpump either

You need a jaw puller to get the crank pulley off. There is a crank mark on the bottom of the block shown in the picture as a tab. The water pump has to have a mark on it somewhere like the picture, take another look to double check.
