I have a 2000LS2 3L V6. I am approaching 90,000 mi and am getting worried about the timing belt since this is an interference engine. Performs well, no unusual noise, but I dont want to bomb the engine. I use Mobile one. Also, should I replace the plugs and water pump at the same time as the timing belt. Thanks

At 100,000 mi you're due for the timing belt, spark plugs, transmission service, fuel filter, and coolant flush, it wouldn't be a bad idea to change the water pump at the same time if you're planning to keep the vehicle.

I plan to keep the car since I have worked out some of the bugs since I bought it. It will probably take me close to 2 years to get to the 100,000 mi mark. Statistically, do I have the luxury of waiting till I hit 100K
Being 9 years old I would do the timing belt(and water pump if your'e doing it) sooner than later, followed by the coolant flush, then the transmission service, and lastly the spark plugs, as the belt can cause the most damage, the coolant is really due at 5 yr/100,000 so that would be next. the rest aren't really in any danger of causing issues if you wait till 100,000.
