2001 oldsmobile: roll down..problems starting..key and it wont start

Customer Question

we have a 2001 oldsmobile that has been having issues, and my husband refuses to take it to a shop. First the drivers side window wouldn't roll down, I figure it's the motor on it that needs to be replaced and then it started to have problems starting... we replaced the battery completely but now this afternoon the thing wont do anything, I turn the key and it wont start, it wont even make a sound, and my husband is out at sea..

Ok sounds like the starter seized, can you put the car in neutral roll back or forward a little and see if it starts
Customer: replied 7 years ago.
I tired it but it does nothing

Ok what you need is for someone to see if you have power to the starter if there is power to the starter then the starter itself is bad and needs to be replaced ,if there is no power and all the fuses are good then you need to replace the starter relay this is the next step top take
