1994 Mazda 3 windshield wipers intermitent control doesn't work. what component needs replacing?
Ok could be a few problems the intermitent wiper relay but since you said the wipers do not park if the switch is working ok and dosent feel broke alot of times the wiper motor loses the park posistion internally id start here but make sure the wiper switch is not broke and all other functions work

how do i do that? what components need to b e checked? where are they?

Ok if the wiper switch seems loose or by wiggling the switch around the intermitent wipers start working or they park by wiggling the switch if it does any of that then the switch is bad if not then its the wiper motor
