1999 Grand Am: you know if you have a intake manifold leak..antifreeze

How do you know if you have a intake manifold leak. I have a 1999 Grand Am. I'm not really loosing any antifreeze

The engine would run rough at idle and you would more than likely see water in the oil.

Would the oil be thinner then?

Not exactly, it would look like a chocolate milkshake.

So just doing an oil change would show if it has water in it?

Just looking at the oil on the dipstick will tell you. The oil on the stick will look whiteish, brown.
