2006 escalade: alternators mine keeps frying my fusible link how do i

in a 2006 escalade there were two different types of alternators mine keeps frying my fusible link how do i know which one it is

just replacing the fusible link wire several different times

There are normally numbers on the original, however, you may be able to see what the amperage of it is on the front of it. Here are the factory options.

the reason i asked is because the boltt that the fusible link connects got so hot it must have broke off a little and now my fusible link wire melts 2-4 times a month......Can that bolt be relpaced or do you have just get a new alternator?

It could be replaced however, the part itself will be very hard to find. That is something that would be done when it is rebuilt. You might be able to find a rebuilder which may be a lot less for that repair. Or, a replacement alternator.
