There are a couple things that can cause your problem. First, If you are parked on a hill, try setting your E-Brake while the car is in neutral. Allow the E-Brake to hold the car in place. Then shift to Park. If you are on a hill, try this it will help. If no hill, check the shift interlock solenoid at the base of your shifter. When you step on the brake it should pull away from the shifter to allow you to move it. They get gummed up with age and sometimes don't work. If all these are good then you need to raise the vehicle and check your shift cable and linkage. Follow it down to the transmission, look for anything loose or frayed. Remove the cable at the transmission and shift the trans by hand to insure no internal problems. Thanks, Joe
