lightbulb..squeeze the wire and lift it to the right of the bulb

Customer Question

I noticed there is a wire that seems to hold the lightbulb in place do I just squeeze the wire and lift it to the right of the bulb?

Hello and thank you for choosing Just Answer.

You need to push the wire in and the move it to the right and it will come off. The wire is in a hold that is shaped like a L so you need to push down and to the right. Then pull the wire back and take the bulb out, put the new bulb in and push the wire back in.

**Caution don't take the wire off, it's very aggravating to put it back on. Also if you take it to autozone and purchase the bulb from them they will install it for you at no charge.
