Hello! I'm Rixster...
Let me see if I can help you out on this...
Let me ask a few questions of you so I can have a place to start.
Does this vehicle have high mileage?
Have you ever had any clutch work done?
There is no adjustment for this style of clutch on this vehicle.
What you are experiencing is a very good sign your Clutch is getting to the point of replacement.
This job should take about 4 hours labor(give or take) this based on a B2500 2WD Cab plus. A complete clutch kit can be purchased thru your local parts store and should contain a Clutch Plate, Pressure Plate, Throwout bearing and Pilot Bearing/Bushing, It should also come with a Pilot Tool to guide and center the Clutch Plate for ease of installation. It is also highly recommended that you have the Flywheel Re-surfaced as it will provide a fresh clean surface for your new Clutch to begin it's duration.
I hope this has helped you with your cause. If it has please ACCEPT the answer.
