Sierra: airbag light comes on, and wont go off...intermitent..horn

GMC Sierra. The airbag light comes on, and won't go off. I have had intermitent problems with the horn not working. Are the two related, and can I fix this problem my self?

The two problems could be related yes. I do not reccomend that someonje with limited experience try to fix the problem due to the danger involved.
