HiCustomerthe crankshaft sensor is mounted on the front of the transmission case adjacent to the flywheel.

Sesor is not mounted on front of transmission case. Kia dealership says it is located behind the timing chain on 2.4L engines. need to know removal and installation precedures.
Hi here is the location of it 2.4l. Do you still need repair instructions also. I have them also. Thansk mike
yes i need repair instructions
Hi these are the factory directions did not realize there not that great. But these are what we get from the dealer. There is some good info in there. you need to remove the engine mount put a jack with a block of wood under oil pan remove the mount. The drive belts. remove the engine covers. align the timing belt and gears up One at the crank and the ones on each cam they align to the notches on cover. I think you have to remove the timing belt and crank sprocket to remove that sensor. You will be able to tell once you get all the other componets removed. Mike
